The Inclusive Recovery City initiative is a collaborative effort aimed at fostering an environment where individuals from all walks of life can access the support and resources they need to thrive in recovery. We are committed to reducing barriers, promoting inclusivity, combating stigma and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to build a fulfilling life free from addiction. Our work is grounded in the principles of lived experience, peer support, and community engagement.
Partner Organisations Include
York In Recovery has been actively involved with IRC UK at a national level since 2023 by playing a active role in the development the national network of cities and organisations who too recognise the value this now international intiative can bring to cities, towns, villages, communities and most importantly the individual working hard on being well and having a fulfilling life.
