Christmas Info 2025

We had two beautiful Christmas celebrations this year. Our annual Recovery Carol Service led by the Rev Dave Barf was kindly hosted by St Helen Church, who we very grateful to for their lasting support for York In Recovery. On 19th December the Recovery Hub was full of joy, laughter, music and friendship as our Christmas party filled the place to the rafters.

As of February 2025, The City of York Council Public Health have selected York In Recovery CIC as the third party organisation to manage the York City Recovery Hub subject to contract and mutual agreement. 

Currently, the City of York Council are managing the building, while we finalise the details. However, some sessions have begun to operate in the hub.

Women's Cafe News 

We are proud of our offer to women in or seeking recovery. We host two sessions a week, with one being at the Recovery Hub and our second session is hosted at changing Lives Women`s Wellness Centre. A safe and supportive space is held by the group
